The closest veterinary clinic is located 90 miles each way from Lincoln County, Nevada; therefore, we decided to open a wellness clinic, which includes vaccinations, wellness checks, basic medical care, etc. In time we will add other needed services, such as spaying and neutering and other surgeries.
A responsible thing for a pet owner to do is to spay or neuter your animal. Spaying or neutering has been proven to have significant health benefits to the animal. We offer low-cost surgery with certificates to pet owners. And with fewer puppies and kittens being born in the community, there will be fewer animals ending up unwanted and in need of homes!
With no animal shelters in our area, when we are called to assist in fostering or finding a dog or a cat a new loving home, of course we say YES. When we have pets in need of a home, we will list them on our website. If you are interesting in adopting or temporarily fostering a cat or dog, click the icon above for more information.

One of the goals of Loving Society is to use and implement the resources already available in the community. We believe that by recycling, we can help to make the community a better place, and also help better protect our beloved pets! There are no animal shelters in Lincoln County, Nevada, so when we are called to assist a pet in need, of course we agree.
At times we do provide foster and adoption opportunities. When pets are in need of a home, we list them on our website, so check back often.
The Loving Care Wellness Clinic is slated to open in the spring or early summer of 2019. It is dependent on many factors, one of which is something you can help us with…and that is to raise much-needed funds. We are thrilled to be bringing this life-saving service to the town of Panaca, in Lincoln County, Nevada. Once we are open, the way to schedule an appointment will be to either call, or to visit the Wellness Clinic menu bar on this website and complete the necessary appointment form. We can’t wait!
Preventing an illness is much easier and less expensive than treating it. A wellness plan allows and encourages pet owners to seek medical care for their pets when it is needed, rather than putting it off for financial reasons. Wellness maintenance will save you money each year because most problems will be discovered before they become debilitating. Services may include exams, laboratory tests, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, nail trims, deworming, heartworm testing, dental care, microchipping, and more. Participants will receive discounts on additional veterinary services when offered. Medical diagnoses can be made earlier and treatment can begin sooner—both potential life-savers. Preventing health care problems or addressing them early gives your pet the best chance for a long and healthy life.
It's easy. Just call, and we will discuss this simple process. Loving Care can assist with transportation if needed. Our team is small, but we believe that getting your beloved pet spayed or neutered is just that important. Any donation to assist with this service is greatly appreciated.
This is also easy. Stop by any time to donate items at 1285B Main Street in Panaca, Nevada. We will also give you a receipt for your gently-used items for tax purposes. You can also mail items to P. O. Box 284, Panaca, NV 89042.
At this time, the thrift store is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and we take donations every day! Please drop off gently-used items outside the Loving Care facility.
To board a dog, or multiple dogs, at Loving Care, the cost is only $25 per day for one dog. A second dog is $20, and each additional dog is only $15. All revenue collected goes directly back to Loving Care, to help us save more lives.
To board a pet at Loving Care, you must show proof of rabies and bordetella vaccinations. Although being spayed/neutered isn’t mandatory, we highly recommend this service for the health and well-being of your beloved pet.
Cats are usually happier if they can stay at home. They don’t handle change very well, and often become ill when stressed. At times, Loving Care can arrange for in-home pet-sitting, so please contact us to find out our schedule to see if we can provide this service for you.
Once we build a relationship with you and your family, we may be able to arrange payment options; however, due to our low costs, we normally need payment at the time of service in order to continue serving more people and pets. Care Credit is a great option for pet owners on a fixed income to pay for needed medical services. We can help you navigate this service if needed.
